As one of our Plumbing and Heating Engineers the role will include all aspects of domestic and commercial plumbing and heating. You will be required to complete general plumbing maintenance, boiler maintenance and breakdowns, first and second fix, boiler installs, full heating installations on more complex and larger systems.
The successful candidate will also be involved in servicing, maintenance, installations and repairs of boilers, heating system components, cold water systems and unvented hot water systems within plant rooms and in a commercial environment.

· Maintenance: Conducting regular maintenance checks on appliances, heating and hot water systems to ensure they are functioning efficiently and safely. This includes cleaning, inspecting, and annual servicing.
· Responsive Repair: Responding to calls for heating system repairs, diagnosing issues, and fixing and or replacing faulty parts.
· Troubleshooting: Identifying and troubleshooting complex problems with heating and hot water systems, using technical knowledge and diagnostic tools to find solutions.
· Testing and Inspections: Performing tests and inspections to assess the performance and safety of heating systems ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
· Upgrades and Retrofitting: Advising clients on upgrades or retrofitting options to improve energy efficiency, reduce emissions, or enhance performance of existing heating systems.
· Customer Service: Provide an unrivalled level of customer service, ensure clear and honest communications with clients.
· Health and Safety: Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring gas safety, and other safety measures are in place during installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
· Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of work performed, including, service reports, and safety inspections, to ensure compliance and facilitate future maintenance or repairs.
· Training and Development: Keeping up to date with advancements in heating technology, regulations, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development activities.
· Repairing or replacing other Plant: i.e. pumps, pipe work, tanks, Safety devices, sinks, taps, actuators & valves.
· Qualifications: Possess relevant certifications, and experience, demonstrating proficiency in handling various heating systems - as a minimum you will need to hold the following certificates
Desirable but not essential - LPG, OFTEC, Commercial gas knowledge/qualifications in a plant or catering environment. (For the right candidate we will build on their current knowledge to gain additional qualifications)
